Ubuntu Pro bietet eine Reduzierung der durchschnittlichen CVE exposure von 98 auf 1 Tag, erweitertes CVE Patching, 10 Jahre Security Unterhalt usw.
Beim Upgrade eines eigentlich aktuellen Ubuntu 22.04 erhielt ich bei apt update folgende Meldung:

Ich meine: wie bitte? Python2.7 Upgrades? Im Februar 2023?

Für einen personal account kann man 5 Maschinen mit Ubuntu Pro connecten, ansonsten kostet es pro Jahr mindestens 225.-
